CVE ID:
CVE-2019-15984
CVSS Score:
6.5, (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N)
Affected Vendors:

Vulnerability Details:
This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Cisco Data Center Network Manager. Although authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability, the existing authentication mechanism can be bypassed.
The specific flaw exists within the processing of requests to the getPortMappingDataLength endpoint of the PortMapperWS service. When parsing the colFilterStr parameter in the getPortMappingDataLength method, the process does not properly validate a user-supplied string before using it to construct SQL queries. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose stored credentials, leading to further compromise.
