Vulnerability Details:

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to bypass authentication on affected installations of Oracle Endeca Tools and Frameworks. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.

The specific flaw exists when parsing the auth parameter. The service generates an authenticated session without credentials if the auth parameter is provided. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to bypass authentication on the system.
